Job Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant culinary experience
- Culinary arts degree preferred
- Must be drug free and pass drug test
- Must pass background check
- Ability to work full-time, 35-40 hours per week
- Ability to work flexible shifts including breakfast, lunch and dinner periods
- Must be physically able to perform kitchen duties
- Must have excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of similar experience in a professional kitchen or a college degree in Culinary Arts
- Experience in a private club or resort setting is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent knife skills and cold food preparation techniques
Job Duties
- In charge and responsible for cold foods, chilled soups, fruit platters, composed salads, pates, terrines, salad dressings, sushi, charcuterie boards, cheeses and poached whole fish displays
- Assist with breakfast, lunch and dinner production in the banquet kitchen
- Assist with breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte menu in the restaurant
- Portion fish, poultry and seafood
- Prepare sauces, salsas, relishes and chutneys
- Re-stock station for the next day
- Requisition food for station
- Breakdown and clean station
- Clean and sanitize working area
