Job Description

Aramark is a global leader in food services, facilities management, and uniform services, operating in 15 countries worldwide. The company proudly serves millions of guests every day, emphasizing core values centered around service excellence, sustainability, and community engagement. With a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment, Aramark strives to develop the talents of its employees, fuel their passions, and empower their professional growth. Aramark is dedicated to equal employment opportunity, prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.

The Chef de Cuisine role at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, is a critical leadership position within Aramark’s culinary operations. This full-time, event-focused role centers on managing day-to-day culinary functions as well as delivering exceptional food experiences during high-profile sports games and special events. The successful candidate will oversee culinary teams working across concessions, premium seating areas, and catering services, ensuring the highest standards of food production, presentation, and customer service are consistently met. The position calls for a culinary leader who can combine creativity in menu design with rigorous operational oversight and strategic use of data to optimize costs and performance margins.

In this role, the Chef de Cuisine is responsible for planning, preparing, and executing culinary operations for a variety of event types, ranging from large-scale sports gatherings to exclusive premium dining experiences. They will manage menu development, recipe costing, and production standards to promote operational excellence and food safety compliance. Working closely with human resources, the Chef will maintain training records and performance data that foster employee growth and accountability. The role also involves coaching culinary staff on industry best practices and leadership skills, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Key responsibilities include managing food inventory, analyzing food consumption estimates to prevent waste, maintaining strong client and customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and union regulations. Because Reliant Stadium hosts events outside of typical business hours, the position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Aramark’s culture of adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement means job duties for the Chef de Cuisine may evolve over time, reflecting changing event requirements and organizational priorities. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned culinary professional to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that values innovation, leadership, and teamwork.
