The resort's signature fine dining restaurant, located on the main property, stands as a pinnacle of culinary excellence and is a vital component of the guest experience.\n\nThe role of Chef de Cuisine at this resort is integral to maintaining and elevating this standard of excellence. The Chef de Cuisine will lead and oversee all kitchen operations within the signature restaurant, exercising full autonomy over culinary direction, staffing, operational execution, and financial profitability. This position demands a visionary culinary leader who can manage both the creative and operational facets of a fine dining kitchen in a luxury destination resort setting. The candidate will be tasked with ensuring that all recipes and food preparations are executed flawlessly while adhering to local and federal guidelines for food safety and sanitation.\n\nIn addition, the Chef de Cuisine will function as a subject matter expert in food handling, preparation, and presentation, setting the benchmark for quality and excellence in the culinary team. Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience in luxury restaurants, destination resorts, private clubs, or fine dining environments
  • Experience at a Relais & Châteaux, Forbes-rated, or comparable luxury property strongly preferred
  • Experience in seasonal menu development and farm-to-table sourcing
  • Ability to mentor junior cooks and lead private fine dining events
  • Willingness to embrace the Wyoming ranch lifestyle including the land and seasons
  • Ability to comply with local and federal food safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience in luxury restaurants, destination resorts, private clubs, or fine dining

Job Duties

  • Oversee all culinary operations including recipe execution, financial management, staffing, and SOP compliance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for safe and exceptional food handling, preparation, and presentation
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop kitchen associates to maintain high engagement and low turnover
  • Foster collaborative relationships with Sales & Marketing, Event Management, Front of House teams, owners, vendors, and business partners
  • Manage ordering, recipe preparation, marketing, and cost control to optimize culinary profitability
  • Participate actively in month-end and year-end financial and operational reporting
  • Partner with on-site greenhouse, goat dairy, creamery, and bakery teams to create an authentic farm-to-table program
  • Execute signature culinary events, private dinners, and immersive guest programs
  • Develop and maintain a supportive and craft-driven kitchen culture
