We are actively seeking an Executive Chef de Cuisine who is ready to elevate their career in a leadership role within a highly regarded kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Sous Chef or a seasoned professional ready to take on the full responsibilities of running a sophisticated kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, who values creativity, organization, and the mentorship of a diverse team. Reporting directly alongside a committed team including three line cooks, two pantry cooks, and an existing Sous Chef, the Executive Chef will provide strong culinary leadership during dinner service. This role not only calls for culinary excellence but also requires keen operational oversight, including managing schedules, food and labor costs, and profit and loss to ensure the restaurant maintains both its quality standards and financial health.
With a compensation package ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 annually plus bonus opportunities, this position offers not only financial reward but also housing assistance through owner-provided rental accommodations. Additionally, work-life balance is emphasized by the restaurant's design of dinner-only service days and a collaborative, structured, and supportive team environment.
