The role of Kitchen Supervisor at 3 Peaks Restaurant involves overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen to ensure that all food preparation and guest service activities meet the highest standards. This includes assisting the Executive Chef with managerial duties and acting as a capable back-up whenever necessary. A crucial part of the role is ensuring adherence to sanitation, safety, and company policies to maintain a clean and safe workplace. The Kitchen Supervisor will train, coach, and motivate the kitchen staff, including managing food purchasing, ordering, inventory, and scheduling. Additionally, the Kitchen Supervisor maintains control of food and labor costs, monitors waste, and supports the Executive Chef in menu planning, product quality, and end-of-month inventory processes.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Culinary degree or ACF certification preferred
- Eight years of progressive culinary experience including at least three years in a supervisory role
- Strong team-building, management, and coaching skills
- Demonstrated administrative skills including scheduling and coaching
- Experience with budgeting, food cost control, inventory, and ordering
- Ability to prepare and execute recipes to standard
- Advanced knowledge of food handling procedures and commercial kitchen operations
- State Food Handlers Certification
- Organizational and budgeting skills
- Proficiency in computer use, procurement software, POS systems, and MS Office applications
- Willingness to teach and mentor Spokane Tribal Members
- Cash handling experience
- Responsible alcohol service awareness
- Strong guest service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Tolerance for varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels
- Ability to secure and maintain State or Tribal Gaming License
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensure all 3 Peaks Restaurant staff maintain excellent standards in food preparation and guest service
- Assist Executive Chef with various managerial duties and serve as back-up when necessary
- Ensure sanitation and safety procedures are followed per established policies
- Train and coach kitchen staff on food preparation, presentation, ordering, monthly inventory, and scheduling
- Monitor purchasing, staffing, food preparation, and inventory to control food and labor costs and waste
- Hire, train, motivate, evaluate, and supervise staff to achieve departmental objectives
- Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections to maintain cleanliness and facility standards
- Determine production needs, delegate tasks, and oversee completion
- Assist Executive Chef with menu development, product ordering, and quality control
- Verify logs, time and attendance records, and make necessary adjustments
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests regarding meal presentation and quality issues
- Fill in within the F and B department as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
