The Chef de Cuisine will actively manage and guide kitchen teams to align with culinary directives, stepping into leadership during the Executive Chef’s absence. This leadership role demands a strong commitment to food safety standards, employee coaching, and fostering an inclusive workspace in alignment with Promega’s 6 Emotional and Social Intelligence principles. The role also requires effective communication across kitchen locations and with leadership to ensure smooth, coordinated operations that reflect the company’s commitment to excellence. Beyond operational responsibility, the Chef de Cuisine is involved in supporting menu preparation, inventory oversight, kitchen maintenance, and safety compliance, making this position dynamic and integral to the success of Promega’s food service operations.
This position typically requires 7-10 years of experience in professional kitchen environments, with a strong emphasis on leadership, problem-solving, and culinary expertise.
