The Sous Chef role is integral to our culinary operations, acting as the right hand to the Chef de Cuisine and supporting every facet of our kitchen management. As a Sous Chef, you will oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring that all culinary creations meet strict quality and presentation standards. Job Requirements
- 2-5 years of professional cooking experience
- culinary arts diploma or equivalent
- proven leadership experience in a high-end kitchen environment
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong communication and organizational skills
- physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties
- knowledge of health safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- 2-5+ years of experience in upscale or fine dining kitchens
- strong hands-on culinary skills and leadership abilities
- knowledge of modern cooking techniques plating and presentation
- experience in high-volume high-standard environments preferred
- ability to lead a team and work under pressure
- knowledge of kitchen management inventory and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- assist the Chef de Cuisine in all daily kitchen operations
- supervise and train junior kitchen staff including line cooks and prep cooks
- ensure quality consistency and presentation of all dishes
- assist with menu execution recipe adherence and seasonal menu updates
- manage inventory prep schedules and kitchen organization
- ensure compliance with all health safety and sanitation standards
- collaborate with FOH leadership to deliver seamless guest dining experiences
