Job Requirements

  • Experience as a cook or in a related role required
  • validated knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
  • must be able to acquire food safety certification
  • demonstrate basic math and counting skills
  • demonstrate interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • physical demands includes lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and extended walking and standing

  • Experience as a cook or in a related culinary role
  • validated knowledge of food preparation principles and cooking methods
  • understanding of food safety regulations including handling, sanitation, and storage
  • ability to acquire food safety certification

  • physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food by following production instructions and standardized recipes
  • prepare the work area with necessary ingredients and tools
  • measure, weigh, blend, cut, trim, and peel food items
  • safely use kitchen tools such as knives
  • operate machinery including ovens, ranges, blenders
  • apply cooking techniques like baking, roasting, broiling, steaming
  • organize, decorate, and serve food maintaining predetermined standards
  • follow food safety protocols and ensure cleanliness of workspaces and tools
  • uphold exceptional customer service and maintain a positive interaction with guests and colleagues
  • adhere to Aramark safety protocols and food safety guidelines
  • ensure corporate resources are safeguarded
