As the Chef, you will oversee food preparation, menu development, food quality control, and inventory management. You will be responsible for ensuring that every dish served is consistent with the brand’s vision and meets expectations for taste, presentation, and timeliness. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of culinary experience, including a minimum of three years working in professional kitchens, preferably in upscale dining or venues with live entertainment. You will lead the kitchen team by assigning duties, training new hires, mentoring line cooks, and fostering a positive and productive work environment characterized by high morale and teamwork. Your expertise will guide decisions on menu suggestions, innovation, and adaptation to culinary trends and seasonal ingredients, ensuring the menu remains fresh and engaging to guests.

Job Qualifications

- Proven track-record of managing food cost, inventory, and kitchen operations efficiently
- Excellent sense of taste, presentation, and attention to detail

- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, kitchen equipment, and sanitation standards
- A creative mindset, with the ability to innovate dishes while keeping operational practicality in mind
- ServSafe certified
- Experience working in hospitality venues with live entertainment or event programming
- Prior experience in menu design for beverage-centric environments (pairing with cocktails)
- Knowledge of local/regional suppliers, and seasonal ingredients
Job Duties
