This full-time Culinary Chef position is a pivotal role within our kitchen team at Brandywine Pennington by Monarch. Working closely under the guidance of the Executive Chef, the Culinary Chef will be responsible for assisting in all phases of meal preparation to ensure the highest culinary standards are met. This position requires a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining impeccable sanitation and safety in all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of culinary methods related to ingredient preparation and recipe execution. This role involves preparing salad bar offerings, desserts, bakery items, and supporting the Executive Chef with meal preparation tasks assigned. The position requires hands-on involvement in keeping an organized, clean, and safe kitchen environment, including knowledge of proper food labeling, storage, and kitchen equipment operation such as food processors, dishwashers, and convection ovens.
The Culinary Chef will also contribute to the procurement of food inventory and supplies, assist with scheduled cleaning of kitchen equipment, and help maintain a work environment that supports the health and wellbeing of both residents and staff. This role is categorized as full-time, with weekend availability being a must, reflecting the continuous need to deliver outstanding food services to our residents every day of the week. The compensation for this position ranges from $20 to $21 per hour, with final pay based on experience and qualifications. Job Requirements
