The role being offered is a part-time Chef position contracted for 37.7 hours per week within the Healthcare sector of Compass Group UK&I. This role is central to delivering exceptional culinary experiences designed to brighten the days of clients and customers. As a Chef, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that meets the specific needs of healthcare clientele. This job involves creativity in menu planning, maintaining stringent hygiene standards, and consistently improving food services based on customer feedback. The ability to oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management and cleanliness, is vital for success in this position.
The part-time Chef will work closely with the healthcare team to represent the brand positively, maintain excellent food safety standards, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of menus and food concepts. Candidates will bring a passion for great-tasting food and exemplary customer service. They are expected to hold relevant culinary qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent and possess a Food Hygiene certificate. Supervisory experience within a kitchen team is also essential. A flexible approach to working hours is required to meet the demands of the role.
