Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in food and beverage management
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional appearance
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Capability to manage multiple service types including catering and events
- Willingness to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage
- Experience supervising food service and related operations
- Strong organizational, self-motivated and proactive chef skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to coach and develop employees effectively
- Experience maintaining compliance with health and safety standards
- Creativity in recipe development
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of food and beverage
- Supervises the execution of regular service, catering, take-out, delivery and all in/off-venue events
- Guides operations to ensure safety, quality, recipe accuracy and financial profitability
- Maintains professional appearance standards as directed in the Carver Road Hospitality Employee Handbook
- Coaches and develops employees by setting clear guidelines and expectations
- Ensures employees are compliant with all kitchen standards and procedures
- Organizes, develops and produces new recipes for potential new menu items and specials
- Remains focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Ensures Department of Health and company sanitation standards
- Ensures venue compliance with all federal, state, local laws and company policies
