Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years professional culinary experience
- Experience cooking for clients with diabetes and kidney disease
- Formal culinary training or certification preferred
- Ability to adapt recipes to specific health needs
- Strong understanding of nutrition and dietary management
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a private chef or in a similar culinary role
- Expertise in dietary restrictions related to diabetes and kidney disease
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and international dishes
- Ability to develop nutritious, low-sodium and low-potassium meals
- Excellent meal planning and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Prepare daily meals that adhere to dietary restrictions for diabetes and kidney disease
- Develop low-sodium and low-potassium recipes with a focus on Japanese cuisine
- Incorporate a variety of global dishes for meal diversity
- Plan and organize weekly menus based on nutritional needs
- Monitor and adjust ingredients to maintain compliance with health guidelines
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Communicate effectively with the client about preferences and dietary adjustments
