Job Requirements

Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 3 years working as a chef in Indian or Pakistani vegetarian/vegan cuisine
Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Valid food safety certification
Ability to handle live cooking in front of an audience
Must own or have access to necessary cooking tools and ingredients for demonstration

Job Qualifications

Proven experience as a chef specializing in vegetarian and vegan Indian and Pakistani cuisine
Strong knowledge of South Asian spices and cooking techniques
Excellent communication and teaching skills
Ability to engage and interact effectively with guests
Creativity in recipe development and presentation
Certification in food safety and hygiene
Previous experience conducting live cooking demonstrations is preferred

Job Duties

Prepare and demonstrate the live cooking of vegetarian and vegan Indian and Pakistani dishes
Engage and teach guests the techniques and recipes during the event
Manage the live cooking setup to ensure safety and efficiency
Provide detailed explanations about ingredients, cooking methods, and cultural context
Assist guests in understanding the flavor profiles and dietary considerations
Lead the tasting session at the conclusion of the cooking demonstration
Maintain cleanliness and organization before, during, and after the event
