Job Requirements
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Minimum of three years’ culinary management experience
- Ability to manage a team of 15 or more employees
- ServSafe certification required or must obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform all physical duties of the kitchen
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- At least one year experience with Lloyd preferred
- Strong people leadership and financial management skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent leadership experience
- At least three years of experience in culinary management
- Proven ability to lead teams of 15 or more
- Strong financial management and scheduling skills
- ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with inventory management and vendor relations
Job Duties
- Lead and develop your team through strategic hiring and training
- Maintain up-to-date staffing plans and create weekly schedules
- Provide performance management including feedback and reviews
- Monitor and manage food costs and waste control
- Oversee all cash handling procedures including deposits and safe management
- Lead inventory counts and oversee ordering of food and supplies
- Champion food safety and high standards for quality and presentation
- Demonstrate cooking techniques and resolve guest complaints
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for quality
- Schedule and execute quarterly deep cleans
- Update order guides monthly
- Serve as backup for masa and tortilla production
- Assume responsibilities of direct reports when necessary
