Job Requirements

  • ServSafe Food Handler’s Certificate (current)
  • background check

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent

Job Duties

  • Cook or supervise the cooking of items requiring skillful preparation
  • evaluate food products to ensure consistent quality standards
  • follow weekly posted menus
  • interact with the Culinary Experience Director to exceed resident and family expectations
  • adhere to standard recipes and food presentation techniques
  • consult with the Culinary Experience Director on food production and special events
  • adhere to cleaning and maintenance schedules for kitchen areas and equipment
  • communicate with residents to learn dining tastes and preferences
  • perform other assigned duties
