Knowledge of glycemic index and carbohydrate management

Job Duties

Prepare medically tailored meals following DASH diet and glycemic control guidelines
Plan menus that cater to high blood pressure and high blood sugar management
Perform grocery shopping to select appropriate low-sodium and low-GI ingredients
Maintain kitchen sanitation and hygiene standards
Manage carbohydrate counting and portion control
Create gourmet-quality dishes without heavy salt, refined sugar, or processed fats
Serve as the creative face and voice for the culinary project
