Job Requirements

  • Experience working in a pasticceria or forno in Italy
  • Knowledge of traditional Italian baking techniques
  • Ability to develop and adapt authentic Italian recipes
  • Passion for culinary craftsmanship and authenticity
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Flexibility to co-develop concept and adapt to a new market

Job Duties

  • Develop traditional Italian bakery recipes with authenticity and creativity
  • Co-create the bakery café concept and menu from the ground up
  • Maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship in baking processes
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on traditional Italian techniques
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate on sourcing authentic ingredients and optimize local ingredients where necessary
  • Assist in daily bakery operations including preparation and customer service
