Job Description
This opportunity is for a private chef to support a client undergoing treatment for early-stage cancer and managing PCOS through tailored, nutrient-dense, and whole-food cooking. The client is looking for a kind, reliable, and health-conscious chef who can prepare balanced, anti-inflammatory, hormone-supportive meals that align with their healing journey. The client’s dietary focus is on low-glycemic, anti-inflammatory foods prepared with mostly organic and clean whole-food ingredients. The meals will be prepared and portioned in the client’s home, allowing for easy heating and consumption throughout the week. This role requires flexibility, excellent communication, and a willingness to collaborate on menu planning to meet evolving health needs and personal preferences. The compensation is competitive and will be based on experience, volume of meals, and grocery shopping involvement, with negotiation encouraged. The employment type is a weekly private chef arrangement based in Chandler, Arizona.
The private chef will visit the client’s residence once a week to prepare meals and snacks for two people—the client and their spouse. The meal plan includes 2-3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) plus 1-2 snacks daily. The chef should be familiar with or willing to learn about cancer-supportive, PCOS-friendly nutrition and anti-inflammatory cooking. They should be adept at batch cooking and storing meals in labeled containers to ensure freshness and convenience. The chef will also either shop for groceries or manage grocery lists to ensure ingredient quality and availability. Occasion-based comfort meals and treats aligned with the health goals may be included to support the client’s overall well-being and satisfaction. The position offers an enriching chance to make a deep impact on a client’s physical health and quality of life through the power of food and care in cooking. While experience in health-focused private chef roles is valued, enthusiasm to learn and adapt to specific dietary requirements is equally important. The ideal candidate will embody compassion, kindness, flexibility, receptiveness to feedback, and professionalism, working closely with the client to create a supportive culinary environment emphasizing healing and wellness.
