Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a chef or in a similar food service role
- Ability to work morning shifts
- No availability required on weekends and evenings
- Ability to follow food safety and hygiene regulations
- Physical ability to stand and work in a kitchen environment
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen management
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with inventory control and food ordering
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Positive and professional attitude when interacting with residents and colleagues
Job Duties
- Prepare food for tenants and guests
- Oversee presentation of meals and service in the dining room including greeting and visiting with residents
- Order supplies and food
- Control inventory
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen and storage areas
- Maintain confidentiality
- Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with tenants, families, staff, outside business agencies and contacts
- Additional duties as assigned
