Sodexo is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join the team at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington. This role is integral to managing all culinary operations on campus, which includes overseeing student dining and catering services. The Chef will be responsible for maintaining the highest culinary standards, ensuring that all food prepared and served is of exceptional quality, safe, and compliant with Sodexo's rigorous standards. This dynamic position requires a professional who is well-versed in culinary trends and can motivate a team to embrace innovation and excellence in food preparation. The Chef will also handle key operational duties such as purchasing, menu compliance, inventory management, food cost analysis, and production forecasting. Job Duties

  • be responsible for purchasing menu compliance inventory food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • ensure food safety sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory ordering production and management systems
