Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to use slicing equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on hospitality
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of cheese products and slicing equipment preferred
- Ability to follow established policies and guidelines for customer interactions
- Good physical stamina for frequent standing, walking, and lifting
Job Duties
- Prepares goods by weighing, packaging, slicing
- filling, stocking, and checking code dates in the Cheese Department
- Serves customers in the Cheese Department by listening to the request and obtaining the desired product
- Proper use of slicer to cut weighable product required
- Helps manage costs by controlling shrink and theft
- Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters and tables to promote sales
- Answers the telephone and takes orders when necessary
