As a Checker/Server at T&C, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience. This dynamic role combines responsibilities at the restaurant’s front end and floor service, making you a central figure in delivering outstanding hospitality. You will be the friendly and efficient face that greets guests, the dependable person managing sales transactions, and a helpful team member supporting daily restaurant operations. Whether engaging with customers at the register, pouring beverages, or ensuring cleanliness and order in the restaurant and front-end areas, your energy and positive attitude will contribute significantly to the overall guest satisfaction.

This position requires open availability from 7am to 10pm every day of the week, including weekends and holidays. T&C emphasizes teamwork and collaboration, and as a Checker/Server, you will work closely with other staff members to maintain smooth operations throughout your shift. Your ability to multitask, communicate clearly, and stay organized will be crucial in handling various duties efficiently.

The role also offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $18.40 to $26.15 per hour, reflective of experience and performance. Job Requirements

  • Open availability 7am-10pm
  • available to work all days Sunday-Saturday
  • must be 21 years or older
  • must pass checker battery test
  • ability to have full body mobility with excellent manual dexterity and frequent repetitive motion capability
  • ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • must be able to stand for up to 8 hours

Job Duties

  • Provides excellent customer service to all guests
  • takes orders through Restaurant POS system, pours beer and wine, delivers food to tables, checks in with guests, and cleans tables when needed
  • runs check stand area efficiently and accurately and is responsible for daily sales transactions for both front end and restaurant check stands as assigned
  • bags groceries and retrieves carts when needed
  • answers phones when needed
  • maintains department and restaurant in a neat, clean and orderly manner
  • provides and role models attitude of service to staff and guests
  • keeps up on industry trends, standards, and changes
  • supports and follows all company and department policies
  • supports and follows sustainability programs
  • supports and follows all safety and security policies
  • operates within the company’s core values, company brand, and business principles
