We are a well-established leader in the distribution industry with a rich heritage spanning over 130 years. Since our founding in 1894, we have built a vast nationwide network of dedicated teammates who serve clients across restaurant, retail, and e-commerce sectors. Our company thrives on innovation, utilizing cutting-edge technology and robust safety measures to address supply chain challenges efficiently. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture-focused and diverse environment where every warehouse team member plays a vital role in our collective success. Our commitment to our employees extends beyond just a job; we provide meaningful opportunities for career advancement along with comprehensive, industry-leading benefits. We operate a Monday through Friday schedule, with shifts starting at 6:00 am and continuing until production goals are met, offering a balanced work-life experience. Our pay rate for the Warehouse Checker position is $19.00 per hour, reflecting our dedication to fairly compensating our valued employees.
The role of Warehouse Checker is critical in maintaining accuracy and quality control within our warehouse operations. In this position, you will be responsible for validating products through either scanning UPC codes or conducting visual inspections using selection or invoice sheets. You will also inspect equipment and adhere to servicing procedures, ensuring all operations run smoothly and safely. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to work in a manner that prevents injury to yourself, colleagues, and any product or equipment damage. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. As a Warehouse Checker, you will be part of a supportive, dynamic team environment where everyone’s contribution helps us continue moving America forward. To succeed, you should be able to understand and communicate work instructions and safety protocols effectively, as English language proficiency at a functional level is necessary. This role also involves other duties as assigned, providing you with opportunities to grow your skills and advance within the company. Our culture supports problem solving, organization, teamwork, and a conscientious approach to safety and quality. We welcome individuals who embody these values and are eager to join us in driving industry-defining moves with a people-centered focus.
