As a luxury transportation service provider within The Venetian Resort, the Chauffeur plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by providing safe, reliable, and highly professional transportation solutions. This position involves operating a fleet of the company’s luxury vehicles such as sedans, limousines, and SUVs, ensuring guests are transported comfortably and punctually to their destinations. The Chauffeur is expected to uphold the highest standards of service, reflecting the resort’s prestigious reputation by assisting with luggage, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and anticipating client needs. The role is pivotal in maintaining the safety and satisfaction of high-value clients, enforcing strict adherence to all local and state traffic laws and company policies throughout each journey.
The Chauffeur must be well-versed in local roads, traffic patterns, and weather conditions to navigate efficiently and safely under varying circumstances. Effective communication using company-provided devices is essential for coordinating routes, schedules, and handling real-time adjustments based on client needs or traffic situations. Additionally, the role requires meticulous record-keeping of all trips, including mileage, pick-up and drop-off times, and any relevant incidents to ensure transparency and accountability.
Safety is paramount in this role, as well as maintaining a professional demeanor that aligns with The Venetian Resort’s strict standards of conduct. Candidates must exhibit a clean driving record, defensive driving capabilities, and a neat professional appearance. This full-time position requires availability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the 24/7 operational needs of the luxury resort transportation services. Physical demands include the ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and adaptability to diverse environmental conditions while driving or waiting for guests. Job Requirements
- 25 years of age
- proof of authorization eligibility to work in the United States
- must be able to obtain and maintain any other certification or license as required by law or policy
- neat and clean professional appearance in accordance with company and departmental standards
- understand and abide local and state traffic and safety laws
- must be able to successfully complete company’s driving safety training program within first 30 days of employment
- must be able and available to work varied shifts including nights weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of previous driving experience with preference to those with prior experience driving professionally or driving luxury vehicles
- valid Nevada driver’s license and must maintain Nevada driver’s license throughout tenure
- clean driving record and knowledge of defensive driving techniques
- strong problem-solving detail-focused and multitasking skills
- ability to address stressful situations with clients and guests with dignity tact and politeness
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests stakeholders community members and other team members of different backgrounds and varying levels of experience
Job Duties
- Drive company's luxury vehicles including sedans limousines and SUVs
- know understand and abide by all laws and regulations relating to vehicle operation including all traffic laws
- provide unmatched service to high-value clients including assistance with luggage opening doors and ensuring clients' comfort during transit
- clean maintain and monitor the condition of company vehicles to maintain excellent condition
- understand traffic weather and other road conditions to transport passengers safely efficiently and timely
- use company devices to communicate effectively about routes assignments vehicles and schedules
- forecast anticipate and respond to client concerns and inquiries and resolve passenger issues that arise during transportation
