Job Description

Our company, located in Providence, Rhode Island, is a reputable shuttle service provider dedicated to ensuring safe and reliable transportation for college students during the late hours. We specialize in offering convenient and secure shuttle rides that foster peace of mind for both students and their families. With a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction, we operate a fleet of mini vans and 14-passenger walk-on vehicles tailored to meet the transportation needs of our community. We are an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, valuing diversity and inclusivity within our workforce.

We are currently seeking professional Chauffer Drivers to join our team for night shifts, available as both full-time and part-time positions. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who have a valid Rhode Island Chauffer license or a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Starting in August 2026, our drivers will work evening hours, with shifts scheduled from 5 PM to 12 AM or from 7 PM to 3 AM. The primary responsibility is to provide safe and timely transportation for college students across designated routes, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the ride.

Drivers in this position can expect to receive competitive hourly wages, starting at $20 per hour for those with a Chauffer license and $22 per hour for those holding a CDL with a passenger endorsement. Our shuttle drivers play a vital role in maintaining the safety standards of our company as well as contributing positively to the student experience by offering friendly and courteous service. With required background checks, drug testing, and driving assessments, we ensure that every member of our driving team upholds the highest standards of professionalism and responsibility.

The Shuttle Driver role encompasses a variety of duties, including greeting and assisting patrons courteously, adhering strictly to traffic laws, and maintaining clear communication with management and fellow staff via radio systems. Drivers complete thorough pre-trip safety inspections and document passenger counts and trip times to comply with federal and company policies. Maintaining cleanliness and addressing any mechanical issues promptly with management are also essential duties of this position.

This role requires a minimum age of 20 years and at least three years of documented driving experience. Customer service experience is essential to provide a positive interaction with all riders, enhancing their travel experience and fostering a safe community environment. Possession of a valid medical card is also mandatory to confirm fitness for this role.

If you are a responsible, safety-conscious individual who takes pride in exceptional customer service and has the required licenses and experience, this exciting opportunity to join our team as a Night Shift Chauffer Driver awaits you. We look forward to welcoming dedicated professionals committed to keeping our college community safe and ensuring their late-night travel needs are met efficiently and reliably.
