The Team Member must be able to operate dishwashing machines, manage silverware, and maintain the inventory and cleanliness of supplies. Participation in pre-shift meetings and continuous learning about new menu items is essential to contribute to the overall excellence of service. Working hours are flexible and include holidays, nights, and weekends, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.

Physical demands are significant in this role, with standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently required. The environment involves moderate noise levels and possible exposure to slippery surfaces and odors, necessitating a team member who is both physically capable and attentive to safety.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to stand walk bend kneel and balance for extended shifts
  • Ability to push pull and lift or carry up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Basic communication skills in English written and oral
  • Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and refill supplies
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently and in team settings
  • Flexibility to work all shifts including nights weekends and holidays as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Any combination of education training or experience providing required knowledge skills and abilities
  • Knowledge of menu products
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Ability to operate glassware washing machine and refill ice and beer bins
  • Knowledge of dish room procedures including separating silverware dishes and glassware
  • Ability to communicate in English both written and oral
  • Ability in simple reading math writing and task completion
  • Skills in compiling coordination following instructions influencing others memorization problem solving independent judgment and decision making
  • Flexible availability including holidays nights and weekends
  • Minimum age 21 years

Job Duties

  • Promptly welcome all guests and ensure responsive professional gracious service
  • Anticipate guests needs and respond with urgency
  • Effectively communicate with management chefs and culinary staff
  • Clear tables clean tabletops seating area booths and chairs
  • Assist servers in pre-bus and busing tables including clearing wiping and setting tables
  • Help set up to-go area and deliver to-go orders to host desk
  • Refill beverages as necessary
  • Set and reset tables and side stations before during and after service
  • Deliver food orders to tables
  • Ensure all machines are cleaned properly
  • Fold roll napkins and keep silverware polished
  • Reset tables in timely and efficient manner
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and learn new menu items
  • Assist kitchen in expediting service process
  • Maintain general cleanliness in dining room during service periods
  • Take compile deliver and put away warehouse orders
  • Perform other duties as assigned within scope of position
