With its prime location just minutes from downtown Boston, guests can enjoy a diverse range of activities from attending lectures at prestigious Harvard University to exploring the scenic Charles River or indulging in fine dining including the hotel’s own Henrietta's Table. The property boasts 18,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor banquet space, which allows it to host a variety of events tailored to meet the needs of both leisure and business travelers.

The role of Front Desk Supervisor at The Charles Hotel is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and leadership. As the heartbeat of hospitality, the Front Desk Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring every guest feels genuinely welcomed and valued. This position requires a dynamic individual who can lead the front desk team with enthusiasm, setting the standard for excellent service that turns everyday interactions into memorable experiences. The Front Desk Supervisor is also responsible for operational tasks such as tracking logs, managing messages and packages, and ensuring that all details are handled with professionalism and efficiency.

Additionally, this role involves working strategically to maximize room revenue by staying informed about rates, packages, and promotions. The Front Desk Supervisor will serve as both a team leader and a problem solver, training new associates and maintaining open communication to foster a supportive work environment. Prioritizing guest satisfaction, safety, and operational standards, this position is perfect for someone who thrives on leadership and enjoys turning guest experiences into positive, memorable moments. Full-time employees are offered a competitive benefits package after an initial waiting period, including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, and more. Those interested in joining a reputable hotel with a commitment to excellence and community will find this role both challenging and rewarding.
