Job Description

Daniel Defense is a premier manufacturer of high-quality firearm systems and accessories, dedicated to engineering and producing the finest weapons for military, law enforcement, and civilian markets. With a mission to Honor God and Defend Freedom, Daniel Defense focuses on delivering superior products for home defense, hunting, and sport shooting enthusiasts. Known for innovation, quality, and reliability, the company serves a diverse customer base that values performance and tactical excellence. Daniel Defense operates within a strong ethical framework, promoting integrity, safety, and positive work culture, emphasizing employee and community well-being. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Daniel Defense champions diversity and inclusion while maintaining a drug-free workplace environment. The work culture fosters continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, and productivity standards, establishing a strong, high-integrity foundation for business success.

The Channel Marketing Trade Show Manager (with Events Marketing) at Daniel Defense plays a crucial role in shaping the company's presence at trade shows, industry events, demo days, and field activations. This position requires a strategic mindset paired with tactical execution skills, bridging the gap between product development, sales teams, and creative marketing efforts to translate the brand vision into immersive, impactful live experiences. Approximately 60 percent of the role focuses on trade show and event management, including strategy development, budgeting, logistics, onsite execution, and success measurement, while 40 percent supports dealer and channel marketing initiatives that extend the trade show experience into the field.

This manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive trade show strategy that covers everything from show selection and pre-show planning to live event management and post-event evaluation. They will partner closely with creative teams to design compelling booth presentations and product showcases that align with brand storytelling and meet core objectives. Managing vendor relationships, logistics, staffing, and ensuring brand consistency across all event touchpoints are key responsibilities.

Additionally, the role involves executing field marketing programs such as channel merchandising, planograms, visual aids, and dealer support activities like dealer days and training sessions to drive product adoption and engagement. Collaboration with product line managers, product strategy teams, and sales enablement leaders ensures alignment between event activities and overall business goals. The manager must also track meaningful metrics—such as trade show ROI, lead generation, dealer participation, and training effectiveness—to continuously optimize the event portfolio and field programs.

Strong communication skills, creativity in producing event content, and the ability to foster key partnerships across internal teams and industry organizations are essential. The position demands frequent travel to events and exhibits, along with physical capability to manage trade show materials. Experience in firearms, outdoor, or related industries is preferred, but the core competencies include leadership in event marketing, channel merchandising, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration.

By excelling in this role, the Channel Marketing Trade Show Manager will significantly enhance Daniel Defense's brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales performance through well-executed, memorable events that resonate with both business partners and end consumers. This job offers an opportunity to work at a dynamic, values-driven company that blends technological innovation with a passion for defending freedom and serving multiple customer segments with excellence.
