Job Description

Delaware North Sportservice is a well-established hospitality and food service provider recognized for its exceptional service in premier venues across the United States. With over 100 years of heritage as a family-owned company, Delaware North operates a diverse portfolio including iconic sports arenas, national parks, casinos, hotels, and retail outlets. One of its notable operations is at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota, home to the Minnesota Twins, where Delaware North manages concessions, premium dining, and retail services. Since 2010, Delaware North Sportservice has been dedicated to providing an exceptional guest experience that combines quality food and beverage offerings with outstanding customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The company emphasizes growth, development, and inclusivity, giving employees opportunities to advance their careers in a supportive and engaging workplace.

Delaware North is currently hiring seasonal Hosts to join their team at Target Field, a 39,504-seat major league baseball stadium. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a lively work atmosphere and want to be part of the game day excitement. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for warmly welcoming patrons, managing the host station, and ensuring that the seating and dining area operations run smoothly. This position pays an hourly rate of $16.37, which does not include additional tipped earnings that may be earned during shifts. Working as a Host at Delaware North Sportservice involves delivering excellent customer service, coordinating seating assignments based on reservation books and floor plans, and maintaining the cleanliness and overall readiness of dining and serving areas. You will assist guests with their needs, address concerns, and contribute positively to their overall dining experience at Target Field.

This position offers flexible work schedules including day, evening, holiday, and weekend shifts, making it suitable for individuals seeking seasonal or part-time employment. The role also emphasizes physical stamina, requiring Hosts to remain on their feet for the duration of shifts, navigate efficiently around the seating and dining areas, and occasionally lift or carry items up to 35 pounds.

Delaware North is committed to the well-being of its team members by providing a comprehensive benefits package designed to support both personal and professional growth. Benefits include weekly pay, training and development programs, employee discounts, flexible work schedules, and for eligible team members, health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, paid parental bonding leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition or professional certification reimbursements.

Joining Delaware North means becoming part of a global legacy with an extensive history of hospitality excellence and the opportunity to work in exciting environments. Whether your interest lies within sports, gaming, hospitality operations, or retail, Delaware North offers a workplace culture that promotes team spirit, continuous learning, and career advancement. If you are energetic, enjoy vibrant social environments, and excel at multi-tasking and guest service, this Host position is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values each employee as part of its family-oriented culture.
