Delaware North is currently seeking seasonal Bartenders to join their team at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the guest experience by responsibly serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining excellent customer service standards. The position involves fulfilling drink orders for guests and servers, mixing drinks according to company recipes and standardized proportions, and adhering strictly to alcohol service policies including proper identification checks. The role also requires managing bar stock, processing payments accurately, and completing sales and inventory reports.

This is a tipped position with an hourly wage starting at $12.45, not including potential tip earnings, emphasizing the opportunity for employees to maximize their income based on performance. Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old and have at least one year of front-of-house experience in high-volume bars or restaurants, including experience in cash handling and credit card processing. Prior familiarity with computerized point of sale (POS) systems is essential. This role demands physical stamina, as it involves constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and ability to lift up to 35 pounds, often in environments with moderate to high noise levels during busy event times. The Bartender position mostly involves working evenings, weekends, and during special events, offering a dynamic and social workplace setting.
