The Chalet Concierge role is a crucial part of the Mountain Activities team at Four Seasons Resort Vail, offering personalized and attentive service to owners and guests during their stay. This position acts as the liaison for all chalet-related requests, ensuring that each experience is seamless and memorable. Responsibilities include responding promptly to guest inquiries, managing ski equipment and locker assignments during winter, facilitating shuttle services, and providing detailed information about resort amenities and local attractions. This role demands a warm, professional demeanor, multi-tasking abilities, and a solid understanding of local area resources to anticipate and fulfill guest needs effectively. The Chalet Concierge occasionally assists with front office or bell stand duties and is integral to maintaining high service standards, guest satisfaction, and adherence to Four Seasons policies.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, in a luxury hotel setting preferred
  • Ability to multi-task on several items at once
  • Working knowledge of computer systems, hotel operating systems and experience with Microsoft Suite, OPERA/Concierge Smart preferred
  • Knowledge of Vail and the surrounding communities
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Current work authorization in the United States
  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus

Job Duties

  • Respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest's needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' policies
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible and resolving customer complaints
  • Assist guests and residents in all inquiries in connection with resort services, hours of operations, key resort personnel, activations and directions
  • Respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner, making recommendations based on local knowledge and resort practices
  • Assist with front desk reception and ski equipment and locker assignments for guests during winter season
  • Provide information about the Chalet's amenities and local attractions
  • Assist with Front Office or Bell Stand duties as needed
  • Ensure standards are being met, guest satisfaction is high and respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner
