Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in good standing with the State of North Carolina
- Ability to follow Plans of Care and complete required documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment when working with older adults and individuals with disabilities
- Ability to assist with lifting positioning and transfers with full or partial support
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Frequent standing walking bending and reaching
- Ability to safely operate transfer equipment when needed
- Dependable transportation with proof of automobile insurance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in good standing with the State of North Carolina
- Ability to follow Plans of Care and complete required documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment when working with older adults and individuals with disabilities
- Experience working with older adults preferred
Job Duties
- Provide personal care and mobility support including assistance with daily living activities transfers and ambulation
- Support participants with light housekeeping meal preparation errands and respite care as outlined in the Plan of Care
- Monitor participant well-being and communicate changes or concerns promptly to the Home Care office
- Maintain accurate documentation and submit required paperwork on schedule
- Follow all safety confidentiality and care standards including OSHA and HIPAA requirements
- Operate transfer equipment safely when needed
- Assist with lifting positioning and transfers with full or partial support
