Job Description
Cerveza Cito Brewery is a craft brewery located in Santa Ana, California, founded by the creators of Suavecito Pomade. This brewery draws inspiration from the founders' culture and childhood, brewing beers that reflect unique flavors and stories. As a company rooted in its community and heritage, Cerveza Cito emphasizes quality and authenticity in every brew they produce. Their commitment to craft beer extends beyond just production, incorporating a vibrant taproom experience where passion for beer and customer service meet. As a part-time Certified Beer Server at Cerveza Cito Brewery, you will play an essential role in delivering this experience to visitors. This role is on-site at their Santa Ana location and involves a dynamic mix of customer interaction, operational responsibilities, and teamwork. The Certified Beer Server is tasked with welcoming guests, offering knowledgeable recommendations on their beer selections, serving beverages efficiently, and ensuring the taproom maintains its clean, welcoming, and organized atmosphere. Moreover, in-depth knowledge of different beer styles and the brewing process is crucial in educating customers and elevating their tasting experience. This position also requires precise management of inventory records and strict adherence to health and safety regulations to ensure the overall safety and quality of service. In this role, you will be more than just a server; you will be an ambassador for Cerveza Cito's craft beer culture, responsible for fostering friendly and engaging interactions that exceed customer expectations. Your duties will include maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards across the bar and taproom, accurately processing customer orders through point-of-sale systems, and actively participating in stock management tasks such as changing kegs, restocking merchandise, and replenishing supplies. You will also be expected to monitor guests' consumption to uphold responsible alcohol service, refusing service politely when necessary, and suggesting safe alternatives for transportation. The job demands physical stamina, as it involves standing for entire shifts, lifting heavy items like kegs and cases, and frequent movement around the taproom. Integrity, honesty, and team cooperation are core values required to succeed here. Completing safety certifications such as the Certified Beer Server and LEAD certification are mandatory, with the Level 1 Cicerone certification considered an added advantage. Whether you are an experienced server or a passionate learner of the craft beer scene, this opportunity provides a supportive environment to grow your skills and contribute to a dynamic and culturally rich brewery community.
