Job Requirements

Ability to attend onsite training, office days, and meetings
Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Scheduling knowledge
Medical terminology knowledge
Insurance knowledge
Customer service skills
Medical office experience preferred

Job Qualifications

At least one year of experience in hospital or physician revenue cycle strongly preferred
Working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance
High level of interpersonal and problem solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships
Ability to take initiative and meet objectives

Job Duties

Schedule outpatient diagnostic testing for radiology and cardiology
Review and process orders from Powerchart, request lists, and faxes
Provide excellent customer service related to scheduling of tests
Perform patient registration and financial clearance tasks
Verify insurance and obtain prior authorizations
Conduct financial counseling and provide individual solutions
Maintain adherence to productivity, quality, and service standards
