Job Requirements

  • Ability to attend onsite training, office days, and meetings
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Scheduling knowledge
  • Medical terminology knowledge
  • Insurance knowledge
  • Customer service skills
  • Medical office experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in hospital or physician revenue cycle strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance
  • High level of interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships
  • Ability to take initiative and meet objectives

Job Duties

  • Schedule outpatient diagnostic testing for radiology and cardiology
  • Review and process orders from Powerchart, request lists, and faxes
  • Provide excellent customer service related to scheduling of tests
  • Perform patient registration and financial clearance tasks
  • Verify insurance and obtain prior authorizations
  • Conduct financial counseling and provide individual solutions
  • Maintain adherence to productivity, quality, and service standards
