This job opportunity is based in Denver, Colorado, USA, where you will join the local US team. The role is designed for a motivated and entrepreneurial individual who is eager to contribute to the growth and success of the company. As a Central Region Business Development team member, you will work under the supervision of the Central Region Business Manager and be entrusted with developing and implementing strategies aligned with the overall brand vision to meet or surpass sales goals and ensure market growth. Your main focus will be on nurturing relationships with key food service customers in the US, effectively executing plans that fulfill business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include developing new sales opportunities and expanding existing accounts primarily within the food service sector. You will engage with foodservice users and distributors to enhance sales efforts through menu optimization and culinary concepts that highlight the unique qualities of 1883 products. By identifying opportunities, generating interest, qualifying prospects, educating clients, and promoting brand awareness, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s customer base. Your contribution will also extend to supporting the sales team, handling sales inquiries promptly, and following up with new clients to guarantee satisfaction and loyalty.
In addition, you will be expected to maintain comprehensive knowledge of the product range and participate in ongoing product training to stay ahead of market trends, applications, and emerging concepts in the food and beverage industry. Job Requirements
- degree in marketing sales business development or equivalent
- at least 2-3 years of experience in a sales position ideally in the food and beverage sector
- fluent in english

Job Duties
- work with the central region business manager to develop sales in the territory for existing and new accounts with a focus on the food service segment
- engage with foodservice users and distributors to develop sales utilizing menu and culinary menu optimization
- assist sales team by identifying opportunities generating interest qualifying prospects educating promoting awareness and developing new sales leads
- handle sales leads and inquiries in a timely manner follow-up with new clients to ensure customer satisfaction
- develop and maintain good knowledge of the products and actively participate in product training
- look for ways to stay ahead of the curve on trending items applications and concepts
- work cooperatively with the team to support a team-selling environment
- take part in the organization and attend national regional shows and local distributor shows
- provide insights on your area and participate in developing the brand strategy in north america
