HDS oversees various housing facilities, including residence halls, university apartments, and the Mountain Campus, facilitating a supportive and vibrant community environment on campus. The coordinator communicates regularly with clients through various channels including email, phone, and in-person meetings, handling essential administrative duties such as generating invoices and processing payments. Additionally, the role involves coordinating menu management and point-of-sale system processes, maintaining HACCP documentation to guarantee food safety, and aiding conference services. An important facet of this position is supervising the student staff, including up to four student managers, by overseeing onboarding, training, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance operational efficiency and service quality. This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, and mandates a valid US driver's license. The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $64,000, reflecting CSU's commitment to competitive compensation. Overall, this role supports the university’s commitment to exceptional service, sustainability, and community engagement within its dining and catering operations.
