Job Description

Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd is a global, patient-centric biopharmaceutical leader committed to advancing innovative therapies and leading transformative patient care worldwide. Headquartered in Japan, Takeda is dedicated to developing specialty pharmaceuticals and best-in-class patient support programs with a focus on rare diseases and highly specialized medical conditions. As a certified Global Top Employer, Takeda fosters a stimulating and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation, offers career growth opportunities, and promotes excellence in all aspects of its operations. Their subsidiary, BioLife Plasma Services, operates plasma donation centers across the United States, providing life-saving plasma products that contribute to the development of life-changing medicines for patients in need.

The Plasma Center Manager role at BioLife Plasma Services in Henderson, Nevada, offers a unique opportunity to lead the management and operations of a plasma donation center. This full-time, regular employee position involves overseeing the general management of employees assigned to production areas including Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing. The manager will report directly to the Center Manager and play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of operational activities while maintaining an engaging and supportive environment for both donors and staff. The estimated hourly wage for this role ranges from $22.80 to $31.35, depending on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and location.

In this capacity, the Center Manager will be responsible for supervising employee performance, staff scheduling, inventory control, and leading operational initiatives that enhance donor experience and center productivity. A key part of the role involves handling donor concerns with empathy and professionalism and analyzing non-conforming events to implement continuous improvements. Critical to success is fostering teamwork, resolving conflicts constructively, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards, including those related to bloodborne pathogens. The position requires physical activity such as frequent bending, reaching, lifting weights up to 50 pounds, and prolonged standing during shifts.

Takeda is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits program that includes medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement benefits with 401(k) matching, paid time off, family leave, disability insurance, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and wellness programs. Employees are also eligible for paid volunteer time off and accrual of sick and vacation leave. The company values diversity and is committed to creating a workplace free from discrimination, upholding equal employment opportunities for all individuals regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or veteran status.

Working at BioLife Plasma Services under Takeda means contributing meaningfully every day by helping provide plasma that supports the creation of therapies for patients with rare diseases. Employees can expect a supportive team environment centered around a shared purpose of bringing better health and a brighter future to people globally.
