As a company, Takeda emphasizes patient-centric care, scientific innovation, and a collaborative workplace culture. Takeda is recognized as a Global Top Employer, fostering inclusivity and excellence while encouraging career growth and innovation in the pharmaceutical industry. Its subsidiary, BioLife Plasma Services, operates plasma donation centers that play a critical role in the collection of high-quality plasma used to develop life-saving therapies. The organization is built on values that prioritize patient care and employee development, offering a supportive and fast-paced work environment that balances meaningful work with comprehensive benefits and opportunities.

The Plasma Center Employee role at BioLife Plasma Services is an essential position responsible for overseeing the general management of employees within production areas, reporting directly to the Center Manager. This role includes direct interaction with plasma donors, establishing a motivating environment through excellent service and problem-solving. The position involves leading operational efforts such as inventory control and ensuring the smooth running of Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas. The candidate will be tasked with maintaining compliance, analyzing and addressing non-conforming events, and fostering teamwork within the center. This full-time, regular employee role is based in Waco, Texas, and offers an hourly wage range between $22.80 and $31.35, influenced by experience and qualifications.

The Plasma Center Employee position demands physical stamina, including frequent bending, reaching, walking, and standing throughout the shift, with the ability to lift items up to 50 pounds. Prolonged glove wear is necessary, given potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Certifications in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use are required, demonstrating the company's commitment to safety and compliance. BioLife Plasma Services values employees who communicate effectively, manage conflicts constructively, and collaborate within a diverse team environment.

Takeda offers a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement benefits through a 401(k) plan with company matching, short-term and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, family leave, tuition reimbursement programs, and well-being benefits. This commitment to employee welfare underlines Takeda's recognition of the importance of a balanced work-life experience, career growth opportunities, and a supportive organizational culture.
