As a Center Store Manager at Casey\'s, you will assume a critical leadership role that requires hands-on management of all center store operations. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the team is well-trained, motivated, and equipped to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Your responsibilities will include overseeing inventory accuracy, conducting compliance audits, managing financial documents such as invoices, and fostering strong vendor relationships to guarantee product availability. This role demands a leader who can balance daily operational tasks with strategic oversight to drive performance and operational efficiencies.

The Center Store Manager role is vital for maintaining high standards within the store while supporting overall store functionality. You will lead by example, ensuring daily task lists are completed accurately and timely, safety protocols are adhered to during store walks, and maintenance needs are promptly addressed through ticket management. Your ownership mindset and ability to anticipate and resolve guest concerns related to team member service will directly impact customer satisfaction and store success.

Compensation for this role starts within the range of $15.00 to $17.25 per hour, with actual pay determined by the candidate\'s knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and qualifications. Casey\'s also offers an extended salary range to promote internal growth opportunities. This position is onsite and integral to the store leadership team, where you may be required to step in for other leaders as needed and perform all Store Team Member duties to support operational needs. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in retail or grocery management preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Proficient in inventory management and store operations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Valid work authorization

Job Duties

  • Lead with accountability and empowerment, influencing operational activities within the center of the store
  • Partner with the Store Manager to train, coach, and engage team members
  • Oversee daily center store activities ensuring task lists are completed
  • Conduct daily store walks and enforce safety processes
  • Enter service and maintenance tickets promptly
  • Manage inventory and complete daily bookwork with management oversight
  • Anticipate and resolve guest concerns related to team member service, keeping the Store Manager informed
  • Serve as part of the store leadership team, stepping in to lead when other leaders are unavailable
  • Perform all Store Team Member duties as needed
