Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for entire work shift
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1)
  • 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a customer or patient facing role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to use basic computer software
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and greet all visitors to the facility including new and repeat donors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
  • Assist donors with appointments
  • Create or pull donor record files
  • Provide customer service to donors (external) and fellow employees (internal)
  • Maintain orderly filing system, purging records
  • Report to center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Initiate changes to center processes through use of company approved procedures
