The organization is now seeking an energetic and experienced Cellar Worker to join their hardworking production team as they prepare for the 2026 harvest season. This full-time position is critical in supporting the winemaking staff by performing various cellar duties that ensure the smooth operation of the production process. The chosen candidate will be expected to bring hands-on winemaking skills along with a proactive, safety-conscious mindset. The role includes responsibilities such as operating winery machinery, assisting with fruit processing, wine transfers, racking, blending, and other key cellar tasks. Additionally, the Cellar Worker will contribute to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the facility, help with record-keeping, and participate in compliance with quality and safety standards. Forklift experience is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Job Requirements
- Valid Oregon Driver's License
- Forklift experience required
- Strong work ethic and dependability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs and navigate stairs and hilly terrain
- Stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Work in a flexible and continually changing environment
- Tolerate exposure to outside elements including heat, wet and/or damp conditions, and cold
- Perform heavy physical work including lifting 50 lbs repeatedly, bending, climbing, pulling, or squatting for long periods
- Work long hours during crush and peak periods including all shifts
- Ability to understand and comply with any and all safety requirements
Job Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Valid Oregon Driver's License
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to understand and comply with safety requirements
- Experience in winemaking or cellar work preferred
Job Duties
- Assist in cleaning the winery and production area as needed including pre and post-work sanitation
- Operate winery machinery in a safe and effective manner
- Assist in the transfer of wine from tanks and barrels for blending
- Perform racking, blending, and ingredient additions
- Handle, sort, and process fruit
- Manage the quality of wines by minimizing oxygen pickup and identifying quality issues
- Perform bottling, topping, sampling, record-keeping, and special projects
- Comply with quality, environmental, and safety regulations and recommend improvements
- Report safety violations to the Head Winemaker
- Take direction from the Cellar Master
- Participate in winery marketing events including barrel tastings
- Drive company transport vehicle and truck as needed
- Maintain a professional, clean, and orderly work area
- Attend regularly scheduled production meetings
- Support the company’s sustainability and green environment efforts
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with department managers towards profitability and company mission
- Other tasks assigned by the Head Winemaker, Enologist, and Cellar Master
