Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume fast-paced kitchen serving a variety of cuisine
- At least 1 year experience as Lead Cook or Kitchen Supervisor
- Ability to pass the SERV Safe food handler's course
- Knowledge of hygiene regulations safety regulations and nutrition
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to use progressive disciplinary actions as necessary
Job Qualifications

- Education in Culinary Arts helpful
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume fast-paced kitchen
- At least 1 year experience as Lead Cook or Kitchen Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of food preparation technology and preparation methods
- Knowledge of hygiene regulations safety regulations and nutrition
Job Duties
- Coordinate culinary staff ensuring menu specifications and cost controls
- Provide first-class service to the guest of Tachi Palace Casino Resort
- Support and instruct staff on food preparation methods and procedures
- Supervise Food and Beverage Culinary staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Implement progressive disciplinary action plan as necessary
- Ensure food preparation meets quality standards including eye appeal texture color temperature and taste
- Order set-up and restock all supplies as needed
