The company is renowned for bridging the gap between manufacturers and retailers, enabling consumers to access high-quality products in the marketplace. Their extensive experience spans multiple trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics, and home centers. The Event Manager will be the key point of contact between warehouse managers, vendors, and in-store product demonstrators, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service to Costco club members. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills to hire and mentor part-time demonstration staff and to maintain high standards of product preparation, food safety, and presentation.

The role includes full-time benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off, making it a comprehensive career opportunity within a reputable company. As a crucial member of the CDS team, the Event Manager will also coordinate grand openings of new Costco locations and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures. The candidate will collaborate closely with district management to analyze sales performance, labor costs, and event execution, making strategic adjustments to optimize results and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will have a high school education or equivalent, with two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food service environments. Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential, including the capability to coach and counsel employees effectively. Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced environment are important as well, along with a commitment to food safety as evidenced by the required NEHA Professional Food Handler Certification.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about event marketing and team leadership in a fast-growing and supportive company.
