The Event Manager role at CDS is integral to maintaining the company’s high standards of service and operational excellence. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and supervising a team of in-store Product Demonstrators who effectively engage customers and promote products within Costco stores. Your leadership will ensure that all product demonstrations are performed with precision, including strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines when applicable. You will conduct thorough training sessions to equip demonstrators with the skills necessary for outstanding demonstration preparation and exceptional customer service. Communication is key in this role, as you will act as a liaison between warehouse managers, vendors, and your team to coordinate logistics, address challenges, and ensure smooth event execution. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting new location grand openings, helping establish a strong marketing presence from day one.
