Job Description

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is a respected and preferred in-house event marketing provider specializing in person-to-person marketing services, predominantly for Costco. As a leader in the event marketing field, CDS focuses on driving sales and enhancing customer engagement through dynamic product demonstrations and in-store promotional activities. The company prides itself on offering comprehensive marketing solutions that help boost visibility and sales for its clients while providing customers with first-hand experiences of new products. With a commitment to quality, CDS delivers tailored event management services that cater specifically to retail environments, ensuring brands connect effectively with their target audience. Beyond traditional sales and marketing services, CDS operates with a keen emphasis on collaboration, communication, and service excellence, making it an industry leader within the event marketing sector.

The full-time Event Manager role at CDS is a pivotal position responsible for the recruitment, hiring, and oversight of in-store Product Demonstrators. The Event Manager acts as the central coordinator who ensures smooth operations in product preparation, presentation, and service delivery at Costco locations. This role involves extensive collaboration with warehouse managers, vendors, and the demonstration team to maintain high standards of product display and customer engagement. The Event Manager will be expected to train and develop part-time Product Demonstrators, equipping them with the skills needed for effective demonstration techniques and superior customer interactions. Additionally, the role requires active participation in new store openings and grand events to expand CDS’s reach and service excellence.

This position demands strong leadership abilities, outstanding communication skills, and comprehensive knowledge of product demonstration processes, including adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. The schedule for this role is set Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with potential variation based on business needs. CDS provides a competitive full-time benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; short and long-term disability plans; a 401(k) retirement savings plan; and generous paid time off. Those joining CDS can expect a balanced work-life environment supported by a team dedicated to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The Event Manager will play a critical role in maintaining CDS's reputation as a leader in event marketing by ensuring that every product demonstration is delivered with professionalism and effectiveness. Candidates interested in taking their career to the next level in retail event management are encouraged to apply, bringing their leadership expertise and passion for customer-focused marketing to a thriving company environment.
