Job Description

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is a distinguished event marketing company primarily serving Costco, the global retailer known for its warehouse club membership-based business model. CDS is recognized as the preferred in-house event marketing provider to Costco, offering unparalleled person-to-person marketing services that significantly drive sales for both customers and Costco itself. Established with a mission to deliver exceptional live product demonstrations that educate and engage consumers, CDS has forged a reputation for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence in retail marketing. Their staff are dedicated to enhancing the shopping experience by showcasing products with authenticity and enthusiasm, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions. As a company, CDS values professionalism, strong communication, teamwork, and leadership within a dynamic retail environment.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Event Manager to join our team. The Event Manager plays a critical role in the recruitment, hiring, and supervision of in-store Product Demonstrators who are the face of CDS and Costco during live product demos. This position calls for a highly organized and personable professional capable of managing multiple aspects of event marketing logistics including product preparation, demonstration quality, and adherence to safety standards such as food safety and sanitation. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and coaching Product Demonstrators to perform at the highest standards of customer service and demonstration impact. Additionally, the role requires close collaboration and effective communication with warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators to ensure smooth operations. A unique element of this role includes participation in grand openings of new Costco locations, supporting the launch of fresh opportunities and amplifying CDS's presence.

The Event Manager will work a set schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, typically from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, though some variability may exist based on business needs. This full-time position offers a comfortable work-life balance, backed by a competitive compensation package that includes comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with short and long-term disability coverage. Additionally, CDS provides a 401(k) plan and generous paid time off, reflecting their commitment to employee well-being and financial security.

Candidates for this role must bring 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in retail, hospitality, or food industry settings, coupled with strong leadership and communication skills. The ability to lead high-performing teams, exercise independent judgment, and handle coaching or counseling situations effectively is essential. CDS values detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can demonstrate flexibility while maintaining high standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for energetic and dedicated individuals eager to contribute to a successful and growing company that values both its employees and clients alike. Apply today to join Club Demonstration Services and be part of a vibrant team delivering top-tier event marketing solutions.
