CDS specializes in driving sales through effective in-store product demonstrations, ensuring a significant impact on both customer experience and sales outcomes. The company prides itself on its ability to connect brand representatives directly to consumers through engaging and informative presentations that highlight the value and benefits of various products available at Costco stores. The role of a Full Time Event Manager at CDS is a dynamic and integral position responsible for overseeing all aspects of in-store product demonstrations. This professional will manage the recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of part-time Product Demonstrators who work on-site at Costco locations. The Event Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that the demonstration team is well-prepared and equipped to deliver high-quality product presentations. This includes supervising product preparation, which involves adhering to stringent food safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring that every demonstration effectively communicates product features and benefits to customers. Additionally, the role requires participation in grand openings of new store locations, helping to establish a strong presence and launching events that generate excitement and awareness.

This full-time position typically operates on a set schedule from Tuesday through Saturday, between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM, although schedules may vary depending on business needs. CDS supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with short and long-term disability coverage. The company offers a 401(k) plan and generous paid time off, underlining its commitment to employee well-being and financial security. The role offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about event management, team leadership, and customer engagement within a fast-paced retail environment, with ample opportunities for professional growth and development. The company values detail-oriented professionals with strong leadership and communication skills who are adaptable to changing circumstances and capable of guiding teams to excel in delivering top-tier customer experiences.
