Job Description
Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is a premier event marketing company specializing in in-store product demonstrations and event management. As the preferred in-house event marketing provider to Costco, CDS takes pride in offering unparalleled person-to-person marketing services that drive sales and enhance customer engagement. With deep experience in retail environments and a commitment to excellence, CDS stands out for its strong partnerships with major retailers and its dedication to delivering high-quality product presentations. The company fosters a collaborative, dynamic workplace that values innovation, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
The Event Manager position at CDS is a full-time role that plays a pivotal part in the successful operation and execution of in-store product demonstrations. This role involves the recruitment, hiring, and supervision of part-time Product Demonstrators who showcase various products to customers in a professional and engaging manner. The Event Manager will oversee every aspect of demonstration preparation and presentation, ensuring that all activities comply with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines. A key function of this position is to provide thorough training and ongoing support to Product Demonstrators, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver excellent customer service. Effective communication is essential, as the Event Manager serves as a liaison between warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators, orchestrating smooth operations and timely coordination of events.
Working in this role means participating in new location grand openings and being a visible leader during these significant company milestones. CDS emphasizes work-life balance and offers a set schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, though hours may vary based on operational needs. Employees benefit from a comprehensive full-time benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with short and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off. The role requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, exhibits strong leadership and communication skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced retail environment while exercising independent judgment and team management abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about event marketing and retail engagement, looking for a stable, rewarding career with room for professional growth and development.
