We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Event Manager to join our team. This full-time role focuses on the recruitment, hiring, and supervision of in-store Product Demonstrators who play a critical role in delivering exceptional product experiences to Costco members. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of product preparation and presentation, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and providing comprehensive training to your team. This position demands strong communication and coordination skills to effectively liaise between warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators. Attendance and active participation in new location grand openings will also be a key part of your responsibilities. The position offers a stable schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with some flexibility based on operational needs.

Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments
- Detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead well performing teams
- Ability to exercise independent judgement
- Able to coach and counsel employees, take correct measures as needed
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Duties
- Recruit, train and hire part-time staff
- Oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety and sanitation
- Train Product Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and excellent customer services
- Communicate between multiple manager, vendors and demonstrators
- Participate in new location grand openings as required
